Brigitte Cormier, B.Kin, RMT believes that there is always a way to help others in their health pursuits & wellness goals.  Whether directly through her skills and care, by helping others better understand their bodies/injuries/conditions, or by directing clients to the health care professionals they need, she is truly dedicated to her clients’ health and wellbeing. She aims to treat the root cause of symptoms and discomforts, and believes the client to be powerful in their ability to improve their health outcomes with the right awareness, practice and tools.

Brigitte is a Kinesiologist and a Registered Massage Therapist providing healthcare to people of all ages and backgrounds. In addition to applied Kinesiology and Massage Therapy for health, Brigitte also treats specific health statuses such as symptoms relating to degenerative conditions, rehabilitation, athletes, musicians, artists, work related ergonomics, unique life phases such as pregnancy, beginning of life care and end of life care.  She treats persons with various levels of ability and mobility, gender identities, as well as at various stages of physical and mental health.

Above her roles as a professional coach and trainer, Brigitte has also competed as an athlete at the regional, provincial and national levels.  She also had the opportunity to compete internationally. These experiences have proven great contributors to her deep understanding of the athletic body in its various stages of training, performance and injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Passionate for life and curious in every subject, Brigitte also travelled extensively through 30 countries and volunteered with over 20 charitable organizations.  These experiences cross over into her practice in a way of diversity and openness to various belief systems and cultural health care models.

Brigitte graduated with distinction from both l’Université de Moncton and Le College Atlantique de Massage Thérapeutique. In both institutions she merited various distinctions in academics, athletics and volunteering.

Brigitte is an insured massage therapist covered under most health insurance plans. She is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapist of New Brunswick (CMTNB) as well as with the NB Association of Massage Therapist (ANBMT).
